Kristen Keymont is a soprano from Massachusetts who has recently found herself in the Seattle area. She graduated in 2013 with her BM in Music Education from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, magna cum laude, and went on to pursue her Master’s in Vocal Performance at The Longy School of Music of Bard College, graduating in 2015. During her education, she sang the roles of Fidalma in Cimarosa’s Il matrimonio segreto, Jack’s Mom in Sondheim’s Into the Woods, and Rosine in Pasatieri’s Signor Deluso.Locally, she has sung with the Puget Sound Concert Opera as a member of the chorus for Puccini’s La Rondine, while also singing soprano for a quartet premiering choral works by Seattle composer Kam Morrill as part of the Wayward Concert Series.Kristen is loving her time so far in the Pacific Northwest, and hopes to continue pursuing her career here!
